“Do we call women “ma’am” because they have mammaries?” —Myself
Oct 2, 2009
Posting hasn't come easy to me lately.

As you can tell, I have rarely been posting, well aside from the picture of two bosom-y ladies I know. I wish I could say life has been going smooth, but I can’t.

For those of you that know, my mom broke her tibia and her ankle last wednesday and has been in the hospital/rehab ever since. It’s thrown in some stress in my life I just didn’t expect at that moment. Emotionally, it kind of sucks. It’s taken me a while to feel like myself again after a really low time for myself, and once, I came back to knowing who I was, I’m thrown into another unfavorable situation.

Granted I don’t have a lot of responsibility aside from taking care of the house and the dog, but I think when it first hit me, it felt like I was being trapped behind a brick wall.

Just so everyone knows, my mom is doing really well. She’s still in a rehabilitation center working towards becoming mobile using a wheelchair/walker/crutches, so she can come home soon, which hopefully will be this upcoming week.

As for me, the stress has definitely lowered, and I’m feeling back to normal, and I couldn’t ask for a better support system of friends. I seriously lucked out, and have an amazing group of people to care for.

Work has been going well. Tomorrow, my coworker Paul is getting married and a bunch of us from the lab are going. We will by far be the rowdiest table at the wedding, which I’m seriously looking forward to. Pictures to come hopefully.

I will also be growing my mustache back for November. At work, they’re holding a month long event called “Movember,” where all the males grow mustaches and somehow raise money for prostate cancer research. It’s totally an awesome cause/event, and if there’s a fundraising competition, I hope some of my followers would help me out!! More info to come!

OH and sooo much good music out lately. Hopefully next week, I can push myself really to do a lot of music blogs and such. I’m pretty much due in, if I do say so myself.
